Radiosurgery is a non-invasive treatment that uses precise beams of radiation to destroy tumors and other abnormal brain tissue. It can be used as an alternative to or in conjunction with conventional neurosurgery.

Zap Surgical Systems, Inc. said it created the new platform with a cost-effective design in an effort to make radiosurgery more accessible for brain tumor patients.
