Neuro-Rehabilitation Services
When aneurysms and other blood vessel malformations rupture, they bleed into surrounding tissue. And when this happens in the brain, it causes a hemorrhagic stroke.
The Barrow Neuro-Rehabilitation Center offers inpatient, outpatient, and transitional neuro-rehabilitation services for those who have experienced this type of stroke. Our team includes physical, occupational, and speech therapists; rehabilitation physicians and nurses; and neuropsychologists. Additionally, we’re a leader in the use of rehabilitation neuro-robotics—technologies that mimic normal human movements and adapt to support and challenge the abilities of each patient.
Aneurysm and AVM Research Center
To better understand the genetics, formation, and rupture of vascular malformations, we’ve established the Barrow Aneurysm and AVM Research Center. The Center is committed to collaboration between neuroscientists and clinicians who share the goal of developing new therapeutic approaches to stabilize aneurysms and AVMs, and prevent their rupture. Many of our patients are offered the opportunity to participate in clinical trials to advance this field and our commitment to robust research.
