Voice Classes
About
Voice classes are provided through the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center Outreach Program that focus on improving your voice quality, loudness, and speech clarity.
All classes are taught by a Speech-Language Pathologist trained in SPEAK OUT!® and Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT®).
Class Eligibility Criteria
Our 1:00 PM Tuesday class is open to all people whether or not you have recently completed skilled speech therapy services.
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 1:00 PM is for people who have recently completed the SPEAK OUT® program. SPEAK OUT!® is a speech therapy program tailored to people with Parkinson’s disease to improve their voice and speech.
To learn more about SPEAK OUT!® visit the Parkinson Voice Projects website or contact a SPEAK OUT!® trained speech-language pathologist at the Muhammad Ali Movement Disorders Outpatient Rehabilitation Center by calling (602) 406-6175.
Registration is required for all classes. Currently, all voice classes are completed virtually over Zoom. You must be able to attend and participate in class using a tablet or iPad, laptop, or desktop computer. Participation using a smartphone is not allowed.
