Petznick Stroke Center Stroke Support Group

The goal of the Barrow Stroke Support Group is to bring stroke survivors, loved ones, and caregivers together so no one is navigating this challenging journey alone. This will allow stroke survivors and their families to learn how to overcome post-stroke challenges by hearing from others who have been down a similar path of recovery.

This group is FREE to join.

Mission

Our mission is to provide all individuals affected by stroke a safe place to rebuild their lives, gain knowledge, and form new friendships throughout their path to recovery.

Stroke Support Guidelines

Information shared during the meeting is confidential
Guests are expected to be respectful and nonjudgemental of others
Guests are encouraged to share, but not required
Speakers and clinicians cannot give medical advice—if a personal question
arises, please follow up with your health care provider
