Andrew Blount, MD, is a plastic surgeon in the Facial Reanimation and Head and Neck Cancer programs at Barrow Neurological Institute. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Blount’s expertise lies in plastic and reconstructive surgery, including the treatment of facial palsy and reconstructive techniques after head and neck cancer treatment. He is a member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Blount earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Michigan State University and his orthopedic hand and upper extremity fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital, the primary teaching hospital of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
Dr. Blount is actively involved in Operation Smile, providing surgical care and resident education in Rwanda, Africa.
