D.J. Fotias
Spine VR Laboratory
D.J. Fotias received his bachelor’s degree in media arts and sciences from Arizona State University with a focus in media processing from the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. He was also a part of Barrett, The Honors College, where he wrote a thesis on facial recognition and emotional affect in relation to video games.
D.J. went on to work in the video game industry as a programmer and designer for several years before coming to Barrow Neurological Institute, where he is the back-end application developer in the Spine Virtual Reality Laboratory of the Sonntag Spine Center.
