Jourdan Milliard, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Jourdan Milliard, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family practice nurse practitioner in the Gregory W. Fulton ALS and Neuromuscular Disease Center at Barrow Neurological Institute.
Ms. Milliard manages patients with ALS, muscular dystrophy, myasthenia gravis, neuropathy, and other neuromuscular disorders. She conducts follow-up visits in the multidisciplinary clinic—as well as outside of the clinic—for new diagnosis follow-up, feeding tube education, equipment needs, and individual concerns. She is co-chair of the Northeast ALS Consortium’s Advanced Practice Providers Sub-Committee, and a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Ms. Milliard earned both her bachelor’s degree and her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from Grand Canyon University in Glendale, Arizona. Her nursing background is primarily in critical care.
Ms. Milliard’s research interests include ALS, muscular dystrophy, and other neuromuscular diseases. She provides outcome measurement training for the Northeast ALS Consortium (NEALS) and the Barrow Neurological Institute Clinical Research Organization.
