Madona Plueger, MSN, ACNS-BC, CNRN, FAES
Madona Plueger, MSN, ACNS-BC, CNRN, FAES, is an adult health clinical nurse specialist for noncritical care patients at Barrow Neurological Institute. She provides educational support and consultation to the epilepsy monitoring unit and neuroacute and neurotelemetry floors. In addition, she is active on several hospital-wide initiatives, including pain management and addressing disruptive patient behaviors.
She has special interest in patients with epilepsy and seizure disorders and patients that enter the acute care setting with chronic neurological diseases.
Ms. Plueger holds an MSN, Clinical Nurse Specialist, from the University of South Alabama, and achieved her board certification in adult health in 2010. She has held a certification in neuroscience nursing (CNRN) since 2004.
